Me at home a day after Deep Brain Stimulation surgery. The scar you see on my chest is where they put the electronics. A wire the runs from there up to the top of my head where two holes were made for the wires to go through.Then through the brain to what i believe to be the bottom area of  the brain.    I am told this took 10 hours I don’t really know. I had them put me out for this. It was better this way for all people involved . Its my understanding they rather do this while your awake that way the can test if the have the wire in the right spot. If i had felt anything and i mean anything at all i would have panicked, freaked out and jumped. As it turns out after telling them that i would panic not only are they willing to put me out but if they did they can do the whole job on one visit .  Before i continue with this story i want to say this was not the first procedure used on me. There was what is called Focused Ultrasound Surgery. And many different prescriptions pills. None of it helped. For now and until i get more time i will focus on DBS. There are many people very happy with my DBS.
